As you can see the long panels are made from single pieces - and the pattern was lasercut, giving perfect fair curves and a very smooth hull without any joints and ridges.

The half shells of the hull are now completely finished, meaning that they already have their structure welded in, the chines (darts) and butt joints are welde inside and outside, and already ground smooth. this means that the work is really very much advanced at this point.

The idea here was to avoid having to sanblast inside the closed hull. Blasting and painting will be done easily now and before the hulkls will be joined long the centerline. After that onle the welds along center and deck have to be treated as well as the short welds where frames will touch the stringers (not the hull itself)

Havin a nice site with all the lifting equipment like this helps of course, but the same procedure should be possibole everywhere.

Work went fast, the 2 half hulls were complete in just one week, 40 hours, and will now be blasted and painted before assembly along the centerline.
